Inner Active Music (I AM) curates inner active musical experiences that unite sound, meditation, art, science and spirituality. Unlike common passive listening experiences in which audiences and performers are relegated to limited roles of giving and receiving, Inner Active Music places emphasis on the co-creative aspects of live art.

Participants are encouraged to take an active roll in the experience—setting intentions, connecting with meditation, exploring the inner world and engaging with participatory practices such as vocalizing and guided movement.

Each experience is unique—curated for the occasion according to the themes and artistic sensibilities provided by our world-class artists, in conjunction with the vision of event collaborators and organizers.

Inner Active Music encourages interdisciplinary art and may be designed with music, dance, live-painting, graphic projection and other modalities as part of the experience.

Event details, including performance duration, theme, instrumentation and cost are contingent upon consultation with a Sonic Institute representative. Location, equipment needs and other logistical considerations for the venue are also considered.
